Thomas Stone High School Athletic Boosters Organization
Mission Statement 2013-2014
The Thomas Stone High School Athletic Boosters Organization (ABO) is a volunteer, non-profit organization. The ABO is committed to supporting coaches, athletes, and school programs in a positive way both athletically and educationally The purpose of the ABO is to assist in the development of the student athletes. Our main goal is to raise money to be used as supplementary funds to benefit student athletes and athletic programs. The funds are generated by having fund raisers, concession stand sales, merchandise sales, receiving donations and sponsorships from the local community.
These funds can be used for food, clothing, programs, equipment, facility enhancements, awards or anything else that would be an asset in the development of our student athletes. We also aim to encourage positive relationships among the local community, parents, school administration, faculty, coaching staff and the student athlete at the school. The ABO promotes a positive attitude and spirit of excellence among its members, students, coaches and athletic department.
The ABO is open to all interested parents, coaches, teachers, staff and members of the community.

NCAA Clearinghouse Calculator Program
Free for Thomas Stone High School Parents and Student Athletes:
We are pleased to inform you that Thomas Stone is making the Corecoursegpa.com, a web-base interactive tool, available to all student-athletes and their parents/guardians free of charge.
If your child has aspirations of competing athletically as a freshman at an NCAA Division I or Division II school, they must meet NCAA Initial-Eligibility minimum standards, including core course GPA and SAT/ACT test score requirements. Corecoursegpa.com is an innovative tool that allows you to easily track your son or daughter’s progress towards meeting these requirements, beginning as soon as their first semester of their freshman year.
IT IS IMPORTANT TO NOTE THAT YOUR USE OF THE CLEARINGHOUSE CALCULATOR IS NOT A SUBSTITUTE FOR ACTUALLY REGISTERING WITH THE NCAA ELIGIBILITY CENTER.
You will be able to learn more about the NCAA Eligibility Center in the "Important Topics" option in your Clearinghouse Calculator account.
The Corecoursegpa.com incorporates Thomas Stone High School’s NCAA recognized core courses into the online forms, calculates BOTH Division I and Division II core course GPA, automatically incorporates weighted grades into calculations and tracks course requirements for BOTH Division I and Division II. Your son or daughter’s core course information is saved for the duration of their high school career.
Thomas Stone High School is proud to make this innovative software available to you free of charge. We believe the Corecoursegpa.com will be a very useful academic tool for you and your student-athlete.
